About Me

Hi there, I’m Zheyan Hou 👋

I am currently an undergraduate student in the Department of Statistics and Data Science at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), majoring in Data Science and Big Data Technology, expected to graduate in 2027. I completed my high school education at Jiangxi University of Technology High School.

I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Guanhua Chen, whose research broadly focuses on LLMs and their applications in low-resource scenarios. Under his guidance, I have been working on data synthesis for multi-turn function calling in scarce-data scenarios. This work is in collaboration with Tsinghua University (THU) and is applied to the DSIM power electronics simulation platform, aiming to generate executable API call trajectories for intelligent agents in professional engineering software.

From August to December 2026, I am a visiting exchange student at the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), advised by Prof. Wei Lu.

My research interests include:

• Data synthesis and evaluation for LLM training in scarce-data scenarios
• LLM-based agents, especially tool use (Function Calling) and multi-turn reasoning
• Self-evolution and continual learning for intelligent agents
